"As your Rio Hondo College Trustee, my mission is not simply to achieve results, but to create an educational experience that transforms the lives of our students, supports our faculty, and strengthens our community.
I will restore trust through transparent leadership, fiscal responsibility, respect, and accountability. I am committed to ending wasteful spending, unnecessary delays, and poor oversight in Rio Hondo College's building program by ensuring every taxpayer dollar is spent wisely. I will provide strong oversight of the $442 million Measure RH bond, approved by voters in 2024, so these investments directly benefit students, modernize our campus, and are completed on time and within budget."
"I will advocate for expanding course offerings, improving aging facilities, strengthening career and technical education, and building partnerships with local businesses to prepare students for high-demand careers. Rio Hondo College should play a leading role in helping students discover career pathways, earn valuable credentials, transfer successfully, and enter the workforce with confidence.
As your Trustee, I will make informed financial decisions that put students first while protecting the College's long-term future. Together, we can create a positive campus environment, strengthen academic excellence, restore public confidence, and ensure Rio Hondo College remains a source of opportunity and pride for our entire community."
